Illuminating Seoul's Night: 'SEOULDAL' Rises Over Yeouido's Sky

Opening in 2024, SEOULDAL is a must-visit night view attraction in Seoul, offering stunning views of the city's skyline and Han River. Perfect for busy travelers, it promises unforgettable memories.

SEOULDAL, a moon that never sets, day or night.
The name "SEOULDAL" is a combination of the pure Korean words "Seoul" and "Dal" (meaning moon), instantly evoking an image of a round shape. What exactly is this friendly-named attraction?

Starting from August 23, 2024, SEOULDAL will begin full operations as a new tourist attraction that will enhance Seoul’s nightscape. It is a tethered helium balloon that flies vertically over Yeouido, offering a unique experience unlike traditional observation decks. From the sky above Yeouido Park, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of Seoul's beautiful nightscape.
Now, anyone can appreciate the stunning day and night views of Seoul along the Han River, without having to visit high-rise observation decks or traditional viewing spots.

Everything is perfect—from the tiny people rushing around, the cars crossing the Han River bridges, to the cool breeze flowing through the dense buildings. Being in SEOULDAL feels like being a giant in a miniature world. Whether with friends, family, or a partner, pick out noticeable buildings from the sky with SEOULDAL. It could be a great idea to visit those spots on your next itinerary, adding to the charm of your Seoul trip.

Is SEOULDAL safe? You can trust it.
SEOULDAL uses the buoyancy of helium, a non-flammable gas, making it highly safe. The balloon is tethered to the ground with cables, minimizing the risk of drifting out of its designated area. Built in compliance with international safety regulations from Europe and the U.S., SEOULDAL has been recognized for its safety, allowing visitors of all ages to enjoy the experience with peace of mind.

Tips for waiting to board SEOULDAL:
1. Due to the weather-sensitive nature of the balloon, on-site reservations are prioritized. Be sure to check if SEOULDAL is operating before visiting
: via website, social media, or the Dasan Call Center (02-120).
2. It’s recommended to make a reservation through the Catch Table app in front of the SEOULDAL office, then explore the surrounding area until your boarding time.
3. Another great option is to browse the cute merchandise at Seoul’s official gift shop while you wait for your turn to board.
